TABLE OF FEES AND PAYMENTS FOR BURIALS

The fees and payments fixed and settled under the Local Government Act 1972 by the Parish of Buckland Monachorum are as follows:

1. Interments	Resident	Non-resident
a) For first interment of a coffin in an earthen grave at a single or double depth.	£100	£400
b) For second interment of a coffin in an earthen grave.	£75	£300
c) For interment of an urn or casket containing cremated human remains.	£60	£200
2. Purchase of Graves
a) Purchase of grave.	£150	£500
b) Purchase of cremation plot.	£65	£300
3. Headstones
For the right to erect a memorial stone on a grave in respect of which the exclusive right of burial has been granted.
a) Headstone (grave only), first inscription.	£100	£200
b) Additional inscription/s.	£10	£15
c) Memorial Plaques	£15	£20

The table of fees, payments and sums fixed and settled under the Local Government Act 1972, was approved and adopted at a meeting of the Buckland Monachorum Parish Council on Tuesday 18 th May 2004 .
