There will be a meeting of the Cemetery Sub-committee on 8th December 2010 in the Milton Combe Village Hall commencing at 7.30pm.

 

GENERAL PURPOSES SUB-COMMITTEE.

There will be a site meeting of the GP sub-committee on Wednesday 8th September 2010 at 6.30pm.  Meeting at the Buckland Monachorum Play Park.  The agenda will include an inspection of the parish bus shelters, cemetery, parish garden, play parks, notice boards and hedges belonging to the parish council.

Inspection of cemetery and play parks and bus shelters

There will be a meeting of the committee on Saturday 20^th Februrary 2010 at 9.30am. Starting at the lych gate, Buckland Monachorum Cemetery.

Clearbrook Village Hall. Wednesday 13^th January 2010, following the Planning meeting.

Agenda.

1.      Review of the week’s frozen weather and effects on the local community.

2.      Suggestions for improved communication or assistance in the community. a) location of grit storage boxes. b) Help to the aged or disabled members of the community.

3.      Review of information provided by the Environment Agency on Flood protection.

4.      Other matters concerning Emergency Planning.

There will be a meeting of the General Purposes Sub-committee on Wednesday 8th July 2009 following the planning meeting at Clearbrook Village Hall.

1. Appointment of Chairman.

2. Apologies.

3. Report on the Survey of the lych gate, Buckland Monachorum.

4. Recommendations to Council on work proposed for the lych gate.

5. Water supply to the cemetery.

6. Conservation issues and the proposed project.

7. Condition of ancient lettering on the roof of the lych gate.

8. The Memorial Meadow landscaping and future use.

9. Recommendations to the Council on proposed work to the Meadow.

OPEN MEETING

A meeting will be held on site at the Memorial Meadow (behind the St Andrew’s Church, Buckland Monachorum) on

17^th June 2009 at 7.30pm to discuss the future of the Meadow. Please come along with your suggestions or comments.

If it is wet the meeting will be held in the committee room of the Buckland Monachorum Village Hall.
